North Lawndale
The Phoenix are headed to their third straight trip to the state finals after beating Chicago Christian on Tuesday night. Zilijan Jones sank a pair of free throws with 16 seconds left to clinch the win for North Lawndale. Friday night, the Phoenix take on Pinckneyville in 2A semifinal action.

Olivia Lett

College - SIU Carbondale

Olivia Lett is a four-year starter on the Varsity basketball team at Pana High School. She has scored over 2,300 points in her high school career and currently leads the team in assists. Lett currently has a 4.2 GPA out of a possible 4 and has also made the Girls State Golf Tournament the last two seasons. She will be continuing her basketball career at Southern Illinois University next year.
