Report: D'Antoni Not Coming to Chicago
Several sources have reported former Phoenix Suns head coach Mike D'Antoni has accepted a deal with New York to fill their vacant head coaching position. D'Antoni was reportedly highly interested in coaching the Bulls, but Saturday's news of the former NBA Coach of the Year being New York bound eliminates that possibility. The Knicks, who finished tied with the most losses in franchise history last season, are said to have offered D'Antoni a four-year deal worth nearly $24 million to help rebuild the team.
